The Zero-Knowledge Split-Key Architecture

1. 100% Local Encryption

Your browser generates a Master Key and encrypts the file. The plaintext file never leaves your device.

2. The Split

The Master Key is split in half. Key A stays with you. Key B goes to our server along with your security rules.

3. Server-Enforced Rules

Your friend needs both halves. Our server only releases Key B if your strict rules (e.g., time limits) allow it.

Time-Bomb Your Files

Set strict expiration timers. After 24 hours (or whatever you choose), the server destroys Key B, making decryption mathematically impossible.

Burn After Reading

Set a 1-time download limit. Once the file is opened by the recipient, the server deletes Key B, ensuring it can never be opened again by anyone.

Zero-Knowledge Proof

Because we only ever hold half of the key (Key B), we couldn't read your files even if we wanted to or were legally forced to.

Track & Revoke Access

Use your exclusive Management Key to monitor if and when your file has been opened, or instantly hit the kill switch to destroy the file forever.
